Current journey membership is a feature of journeys that creates a segment using the contacts that are currently in a journey.

Use cases

• Current journey membership can be used to exclude contacts from receiving other flows or journeys.
• The membership of a journey can be exported to inspect which contacts are in the journey as part of a quality assurance process

Usage

Current journey membership is an option that can be selected from the left dropdown menu. You may select the specific journey to include or exclude as part of the condition definition.

Definition

A contact is a member of a journey from the time they are targeted by the first flow until either:

• there are no more downstream flows to enter on the contact's particular branch
• the contact did not meet the conditions of a segment filter and has been excluded from a flow
