Reports

Overview

Reporting provides users with email reporting metrics at the flow level alongside conversion and revenue data. Reports will allow you to easily compare performance across different campaigns Reporting is currently only available for SendGrid campaigns. Reports are available for export to CSV.

How to Use Reports

Configure a report

Navigate to Reports under the right hand side menu. Note: you must be a Sendgrid user to have Reports enabled.

To create a new report, click create new report located on the top right of the page.

To start creating a report, input a name. Next, select a frequency for the report. This will determine how frequently the report will be generated. The options are: daily, weekly, quarterly, monthly, annually, or custom. Custom reports will only be generated once.

Next, you have the option to select a conversion goal. If you have no conversion goals available, please reach out to your Simon Customer Success team for help.

If a conversion goal is selected, you will then be prompted to select an attribution type and window. Attribution can be tracked by the last click or last open.

Not receiving your report download email?

When you export a report, Simon queues the export and sends the download link to your account email address. If you don't receive it within 15 minutes, work through the following before contacting support.

  1. Check your spam or junk folder. Report download emails come from [email protected] with the display name Simon Data Notifications. Some email clients and corporate spam filters route automated emails to spam — search your inbox for either of those values
  2. Confirm your account email. Report links are sent to the email address associated with your Simon user account, not necessarily the address you use day-to-day. Go to Settings > My Profile and confirm the email on file is one you actively monitor
  3. Wait for large reports to finish processing. Very large reports (high contact counts, long date ranges, many columns) can take longer than expected to generate. If Simon showed a confirmation message when you requested the export, the job was queued successfully — give it up to 30 minutes before assuming something went wrong
  4. Re-request the report. If more than 30 minutes have passed, request the same report again. Occasionally a report job stalls silently — a second request creates a new job and sends a fresh email

If you've completed all of the above and still haven't received the report after 30 minutes, contact Simon support with the report name, the date and time you requested it, and your account email address. Our team can check the job status and resend if needed.
