Sync Contact to List
Overview
Use this action to keep a HubSpot list in sync with a Simon segment. Contacts who enter the segment are added to the HubSpot list and contacts who leave the segment are removed, so your HubSpot list always reflects your Simon segment.
To get started:
- Create a Stream flow.
- Under Destination, choose the HubSpot channel then the Sync Contact to List action.
- Configure the parameters described below.
Configuration Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| List | The HubSpot list to sync to. Select from the list of static lists available in your connected HubSpot account. |
| Custom Properties | Optional. When Simon creates a contact in HubSpot that doesn't already exist, these properties will be set on the new contact. Property names must match HubSpot's internal property names exactly (lowercase, with underscores or hyphens). |
Adds and removalsWhen a contact in your Simon segment doesn't yet exist in HubSpot, Simon will create the contact (using the email address as the unique identifier) before adding them to the list. When contacts leave the segment, Simon removes them from the list — they remain in your HubSpot account, just no longer on this list.
Use a static listThe Sync Contact to List action is designed to manage static HubSpot lists. HubSpot's active lists manage their own membership based on rules you define in HubSpot, and Simon's add/remove operations may conflict with those rules.
