Send Single Email to Contact
Overview
Use this action to send a transactional email through HubSpot using one of your HubSpot transactional email templates. Personalize the message with custom context drawn from your Simon segment.
To get started:
- Create a flow.
- Under Destination, choose the HubSpot channel then the Send Single Email to Contact action.
- Configure the parameters described below.
Configuration Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Template ID | The numeric ID of the HubSpot transactional email template to send. You can find this in HubSpot under Marketing > Email, by opening the transactional template — the ID appears in the URL. |
| Reply-To | Optional. The email address replies should be routed to. If left blank, HubSpot uses the default reply-to from the template. |
| Custom Properties | Optional. Map customer fields from your Simon segment to merge tags in the HubSpot template. These are sent as customProperties on the transactional send and can be referenced in your template for personalization. |
Send a Test
Once configured, you can send a test message to yourself or a teammate by entering an email address into the Test Recipient Contact field and clicking Send.
If you want the test message to preview the experience for a specific contact, click Select next to Preview Contact and search for the contact whose data should populate the merge tags.
